These terms govern your use of Lumio Studio ("Lumio", "we") to generate, review, and receive a custom website. By submitting the questionnaire and/or paying for a build, you agree to these terms.
Lumio uses AI to design and build a complete custom website based on the information you provide. You receive a private preview link to review the result, request revisions, and approve the final site before it's published or handed over.
Pricing is calculated from the complexity of your request at the time you submit the questionnaire, shown to you before you pay. Prices are in USD. GST (10%) is added for Australian clients and included in the total shown before you pay — international clients are not charged GST. Payment is processed by Stripe. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
Your site is generated by an AI model. While every site goes through an automatic and (where enabled) an individually-tailored review process before delivery, you are responsible for reviewing the final site for factual accuracy (prices, hours, claims about your business) before it goes live. Lumio is not liable for business decisions made based on placeholder or draft content that was not corrected during your review period.
If you enable the AI concierge on your site, it responds to your visitors using information you've provided about your business. It's instructed not to invent prices, hours, or policies it wasn't given, but as with any AI system it can make mistakes. You're responsible for reviewing the training information you provide it and for monitoring its use on a live site.
Once your project is paid for and delivered, you own the final website — the HTML, copy, and design produced specifically for you. Lumio retains no ongoing rights to your content. Lumio may keep an archived copy of the delivered code for our own record-keeping and support purposes (see our Privacy Policy).
Lumio can publish your site under a Lumio-provided web address (One-Click Publish). This is provided as-is; if you require a custom domain or independent hosting, that is a separate arrangement and you're responsible for its setup and ongoing cost.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumio's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for your project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business opportunities.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you under the Australian Consumer Law (or equivalent consumer protection law in your own jurisdiction) that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our service fails to meet a consumer guarantee that can be limited under that law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or the cost of having it re-supplied, to the extent the law allows.
Lumio is operated from Australia and welcomes clients from any country. Local consumer protection laws in your own jurisdiction may also apply to your purchase in addition to these terms, and nothing here is intended to override rights you cannot lawfully waive.
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where a mandatory local consumer law applies to you as described in Section 10.
